SHALVA MUKERIA

After the Concert in full dress in the Regal Theater of Parma in January of 2000, it was invited by Zubin Mehta to sing the part of Elvino de La Sonnambula next to Mariella Devia in Florence. Other initial commitments included to Alfredo and Rodolfo in the Royal Danish Opera de Copenhagen, Rodolfo in National Opera of Helsinki and Elvino in Pavia, As, Cremona and Leipzig.

 

In 2004 it made his debut in a new production of the Sleepwalker in the Opera of Santa Fe with Natalie Dessay as Amine.

 

As member of Opera of Vienna, between years 2005 and 2007, it sang the Italienischer Sanger de Der Rosenkavalier and Arthur of I Puritani with Edita Gruberova realising with them a successful tour by Japan.

 

In 2007 its debut in La Scala in the paper of Tonio de La takes place fille du r©giment, followed by appearances as Duca I gave Mantova in Bilbao, Jesi, in the Festival of Santander and Tokyo.

 

In the last seasons it has been solicitd as Edgardo de Lucia I gave Lammermoor in Tours, Jesi and Treviso; Arthur in I Puritani in the Monnaie of Brussels, Palermo, Amsterdam and Toulon;  Rigoletto and the Sleepwalker in Salerno directed by Daniel Oren, as well as in several concerts in A Coru±a, Concertgebouw of Amsterdam and the Monnaie.

 

Other recent activities include Rigoletto in Tokyo and Florence; I Puritani in the State Opera of Vienna, Cagliari, Pamplona, Savonlinna and Essen; Leicester de Maria Stuarda in the Massimo Theater I gave Palermo, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino with Mariella Devia, and Teatr Wielki of Warsaw; The Traviata in Salerno; Corismano de Zaira de Bellini in the Festival of Montpellier that in addition was recorded in CD; Rigoletto, Bright I gave Lammermoor, the Traviata and the Sleepwalker in the Great Theater the Fenice of Venice; Percy de Anna Bolena in the Maggio Musicale and the Opera State of Washington, along with Edita Gruberova and directed by Evelino Pid²; Ernesto de Don Pasquale in La Scala; Alfredo in the Theater Bellini de Catania and Shanghai; Rigoletto in Genoa under the baton of Fabio Luisi; Tebaldo in I Capuleti and i Montecchi in Verona, Venice and Catania; Monographic concerts Verdi with the Theater the Fenice in Japan directed by Myung-Whun Chung; Iopas of Them Troyens directed by Antonio Pappano in La Scala and with putting in scene of David McVicar and I Puritani in Santiago de Chile.

 

Shalva Mukeria was born later in Georgia, where he studied clarinet in the Conservatory of Tibilisi, moving to Odessa, where he completed his studies of song in the Academy of Music A.V. Nezhdanova. As member of the Theater of Opera de Odessa, d'amore, the Traviata sang the main rolls in L'Elisir, Rigoletto, Bright I gave Lammermmor, the Boh¨me and Werther.

 

Between its next commitments for season 2017/2018 they are possible to emphasize the Tebaldo de Capuleti and i Monttecchi in Verona, Edgardo de Lucia I gave Lammermoor, Elvino de La Sonnambula in Florence and the Fenice, Alfredo de La Traviata in the Theater the Fenice of Venice, Elvino of and Tonio de La Fille du Regiment in Trieste, Arthur of I Puritani in Palermo, etc€¦

 

Recently it has been invited to give skillful classes by the Conservatory Superior of Music of Tibilisi and the Accademia Internazionale I gave Citt  Song I gave to Pesaro €œRenata Tebaldi & Mario of the Monaco€.
