It is the music I used to play almost every night during these years.
A sort of meditation, suspended like Feldman's music, but different. A flow of thoughts, slow and out of time and space. Feldman is present in the dark of my space, sitting and smoking pipe...
"After Midnight" is a piano music project. Since 2002 I collected two compositions for it. The previous one is "After Midnight (with Thelonious Monk) " and it was released in the record Il Sogno ed il Martello, a set of music for automatic piano.
This piece is especially dedicated to Sonsoles Alonso.
The version posted here is realized in my studio.
