Hotel Grimes

From Bob Shingleton’s blog On an Overgrown Path comes the slightly amazing news that you can book a room in the childhood home of Benjamin Britten. The Lowestoft house where Britten grew up and began composing is now an eight-room B&B, and to all appearances it’s a step above Fawlty Towers. Curl up with a special someone in Britten’s bedroom and listen to the ocean that devoured Peter Grimes.
