Katia Tiutiunnik - Borealis Brass Festival Performance on February 5 2010

I am very happy to perform you that James Michael Bicigo and John Aspnes, of Borealis Brass of the University of Alaska Fairbanks--the stars of the recent, very successful " Borealis in Australis" tour (which featured many wonderful performances of my own compositions and the music of other women composers)--will be performing two of my works (both featured in the Borealis in Australis tour) shortly. I'm honoured to state that I have been collaborating with Borealis for over ten years now and that their first Australian tour coincided with my tenth year of collaboration with them.

The performance details are:

Works and Performers: Mahdoom for solo trombone (performed by James Bicigo) and La Passion de Jehanne for trombone and violin (performed by James Bicigo and John Aspnes). Both works are by Katia Tiutiunnik (myself).

Date and Time: 8pm, Friday, February 5 2010

Venue: Charles Davis Concert Hall on the Campus of the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Alaska, USA.

Festival: University of Alaska Fairbanks New Music Festival
