PAVEL MARKELOV [1] is a Clarinetist, a conductor, and a composer. An experienced musician holding a PhD degree in performance from Moscow P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory, he performs a wide variety of material ranging from classical masterpieces to American and Latin American composers [2], jazz and popular contemporary hits. With his vast repertoire, he performed in concert halls of France, Russia, Spain, Czech Republic, Germany, China, Korea and Australia as a member of chamber and symphony orchestras, the famous Borodin Quartet.

PAVEL MARKELOV is Winner of the Shostakovich Chamber Music International Competition, First-Prize Winner of the Russian National Competition, Second-Prize Winner of the International Competition, Second-Prize Conductor Winner of the International Competition.
