Yelena was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. She earned Master’s Degree in piano performing and teaching from the Moscow State Conservatory. She played numerous concerts in the USA as well as in Russia. Yelena has been composing music since 5 years of age. By 2005 she released twelve albums of her original, arranged and classical music. Yelena teaches piano and serves as a church musician. Her hobbies include oil-on-canvas painting, photography and gardening. She believes in hard work, humanism and eternal love. Her music has been described as intelligent, tasteful, reflective, sometimes dark and edgy, always interesting, and very romantic. It is rooted in modern classical, influenced with jazz and world music. Listener would relax and recharge, but most of all get inspired. People commented that Yelena’s music made them feel good, think better, and cleansed their hearts. Many say that is the kind of music that can withstand and even get better with multiple listening.
